very good

Last night it was about a society where you do something wrong like these filthy fucks, then you go on an apology tour and the public votes whether you are sincere or not, if not your brain is fried.

Halperin had to toss in that some of the allegations aren't true. I call hogwash, He was harassing women consistently, he doesn't remember all the instances he engaged in it.

Saying some are not true is a tried and true defense tactic. By admitting some (usually the lesser offenses) and denying others (usually the worst offenses) it gives him an air of being honest. Given that people are more likely to cut him a break. This apology comes after he lost the HBO contract for work. It reeks of him trying to save his career, not sincerity.

trump is disgusting looking. I guess they sexually assault women, then apologize and their life goes on, leaving the women to deal with the trauma and scars it caused them.

You know, people make mistakes and some people change. It happens occasionally. And I believe this fellow, (no I don't know or have listened to him) has changed. The letter is written with remorse and guilt. And he says he was wrong.....Trump does not admit he is/was wrong.

This fellow has more class in one fingernail, than Trump has in his entire body with all that orange hair..

and hopefully it's true that he changed. My point is it will soon be forgotten and he will probably get another good job but the women are affected by his/their actions and it stays with them always.

Is the change enough? Should he go back and make restitution to those he hurt? Is this true?
I think if this statement is a lie, we will all find out. If he has really changed his behavior what then?
He claims he has, is there a way to find out. Change is difficult and often not complete. Sometimes,
people do change their behavior. I guess we will find out. If there has been no cruel and crude behavior for 10 years perhaps he will be back. I guess time will tell if he is telling the truth about his "changed behavior"

" I fully acknowledge and apologize for conduct that was often aggressive and crude"..

He also said that that he had counseling to deal with the problem, and that at his new "subsequent jobs..I did not engage in improper behavior.""

So, he says that he has changed, and implies that you can check it out by talking to co-workers to see if he has changed... Also............and most important he says...................................

" I bear responsibility for my outrageous conduct at ABC News

So he said he did it, he recognized that he did these behaviors, got counseling on these behaviors and says that he has changed and does not do them anymore. And..He says, "Yes, you can check out my recent jobs to see indeed if I am telling the truth and have changed...

This is indeed a class letter/confession/ explanation that he has changed, and yes, you can check it out if you desire.................I wish others knew how to admit the truth and change like Mark Halperin..And if this all a lie, we will find that out too. But I do not think so, because he says, check it out to see if it is the truth...Yes this is a class act. And I believe that he has changed..

11. Mark Halperin said this about Donald Trump's sexual harassing behavior
Fri Oct 27, 2017, 07:45 PM
Oct 2017

Mark Halperin, co-managing editor of Bloomberg Politics at the time of the article's publication, said the allegations against Trump were not terribly serious.

“If that's the best they got on these issues and Donald Trump, Donald Trump should be celebrating that story,” Halperin said on MSNBC's “Morning Joe,” where he now appears regularly as a senior political analyst for NBC News. “There's some troubling things in the piece, but there's nothing illegal, there's nothing even kind of, like, beyond boorish or politically incorrect, which is built into the Donald Trump brand. So, if that's the best they have in this score, Donald Trump can celebrate this story, politically.”

Does that sound like a man who has changed?

Has my husband said, Halperin "realized" yesterday that his behavior was wrong.

I'm taking this as sincere, and it sure sounds like he's remorseful and has changed. Only the women who worked with him after abc know for sure. He's walking out of his current life, and not knowing the extent of his actions, I can't stand in judgement of whether or not that's sufficient.

Should he be in prison? Don't know. Cosby should. Michael Jackson should have been. OJ should still be. Weinstein should. Don't know about Halperin.

Gotta say that all the years I watched him on am Joe he was never the asshat, and seemed more level-headed and fair and honest than the rest, but that's irrellevant if he really hurt women off-air.

He's certainly taking a stand in our favor, and taking this out on himself. Can't see it any other way.

If all perpetrators could get here, it would be a better world.

I've been groped by women, some out of fun, others for their reasons.

his reports are old, he's grown out of that stupidly.

since he recognized his mistakes and corrected them, does he need to be pilloried forever?

does a thief who stops stealing, after he served time, do we not stop punishing him?

All that has to be done, is go to the jobs and find out if what he says is the truth. Are women there complaining about behavior during the last decade?..The proof will be easy to obtain. Ask the women who worked with him at the last 4 jobs if he came on at them. The truth about that will come out within a week. He even implies in the letter..yes. He implies "go check it out." See if I am telling the truth..

My attitude is this, He screwed up in the past, will make restitution, and has stopped that behavior for 10 years.
Not a month or two, but 10 years. "And, you can check it out if you want..I got nothing to hide.

If true, I would give him a chance. Change is very hard for those kinds of people. Anyone who is addicted to behavior that is destructive to themselves and others, knows that. The truth on this one will come out in a couple of weeks.
