All four legs down

Generally, but not always::::

https://www.reference.com/world-view/meaning-horse-statue-its-legs-raised-332f6b36fc399426

"A horse with all four feet on the ground is said to represent a rider that was neither killed nor injured in battle but who died away from the battlefield of something unrelated to war or battle."

Pretty good symbolism for Trump who said that avoiding STDs was his personal VN.

Don't folks die from third stage syphilis?

With mental faculties declining?

I did not know that! Now I'm going to look at every statue I happen to see with new eyes. And I usually pay more attention to the horse than to the rider.
