I am the type of person who would have said, "What?" and meant it. I am a combination of feminist, outspoken to the degree where I speak before I think, and naive. I also can't hide my feelings well. I probably would have made him wonder if I was serious, seriously naive, or just plain crazy. I would have walked out feeling as confused as he probably was given my unexpected reaction. I do not think/act out of fear as much as sincere repulsion and disgust, "You must be kidding you pig, how dare you".
