That said? There are lots of concrete things a Republican senator who believes Trump is "an utterly untruthful president" who is "debasing our country" could do as next steps. Corker could hold hearings on how Trump is conducting foreign policy. He could support the current Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into the Trump-Russia scandal, push them to do more, or even support a Senate Select Committee to look into the range of Trump scandals. Senators can still use executive branch nominations as leverage against the president -- say, to release his tax returns. Again, this isn't to say that what Corker has done so far isn't already important, even if he just stops here.

1. If Corker and Flake do what you suggest

then I would respect them a lot more instead of still voting and acting like GOP puppets.

they say that they are talking in private, it is well past time that they all speak up.

3. I would like them to at least call for investigations

as to why Trump refuses to implement the bipartisan Russia sanctions. This makes me angrier every day it gets ignored by the press and our elected "leaders."
