Kid Rock on Senate Run: 'F--k No'
Kid Rock said he will not run for Senate during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday, according to The Detroit Free Press. After playing coy about his political ambitions for months, Kid Rock admitted that it was all a ploy to build hype for his new album, Sweet Southern Sugar, out November 3rd.
"Fuck no, I'm not running for senate, are you kidding me?" Kid Rock said. "Who couldn't figure that out? I'm releasing a new album. I'm going on tour, too. Are you fucking shitting me?"

As for his now officially squashed Senate campaign, Kid Rock called it "the worst advice that I ever gave myself, but it's been the most creative thing I've ever done. And I got to see everybody's true colors."
Elsewhere, Kid Rock took a few off-color shots at the media after Stern praised the reporting in The New York Times. While Kid Rock agreed with the importance of a free press, he quipped that the Times was "a little bit gay." When Stern asked him what he meant, Kid Rock replied, "Like, they have a narrative of a left-wing agenda."
