Putting Our Bombers On Nuclear Alert Where No Immediate Threat Is Insanely Dangerous.

We have not been on such a hight DEFCON alert since the Cold War. There is no even remote reason that we are under a serous threat that we are NOT causing ourselves with Trump.

We reached DEFCON 3 on 9/11 , 2001 which was the highest level since the beginning of the Persian Gulf War when it hit level 2.

Edit: I had first said we've been at level 4 all year but that was wrong. We were at level 5 back in August.

We already brought back ready alerts for fighter aircraft after 9/11. Putting the bombers back on them is a giant waste of resources but not really a danger. Any first strike Trump would launch isn't coming from bomber aircraft, it would be ballistic missiles from either our subs or from our land based silos.
