Fugelsang is a frequent contributor to the Stephanie Miller radio show and is almost always a guest for all three hours on Fridays. He also does a lot of fill-in work for the evening show hosts on the Current TV network. He is one of these guys with a deep drawer and instant access, facts always at the fingertips. I assume he will eventually get his own show.

He's the guy who got the Romney campaign spokesman Eric Ferhnstrom to make the Etch-a-sketch comment. He's also a solid liberal. OK, I sound like a fanboy but he's on our side.

There are churches full of people who have been taught to accept that explanation. "It was God's will."

Now, this is my beef with churches: When someone does wrong, the church will run to their aide because they're in the business of rehabbing sinners. They help him pray through the ordeal and find a productive way to help him get over it. Like community service or huge donations. Meanwhile, the victim is told, "It was God's will." But the church is not finished. If there is someone with deep money bags who did wrong, they usually get a huge donation. So what you're getting is a redistribution of wealth and fortune. The person who got stomped on must learn to accept his "bad luck," while the church is benefiting from guilt money.

What a sweet deal. Zimmerman is just hoping to cut out the middle man.
