Yale football is underway and I'll be in the Yale Bowl in another week, invited my son (he's a Columbia grad) to attend that game. Go bulldogs!
I'm here on DU a lot. Don't worry.
Thanks for caring, you wonderful DUers! Love you!

But it was a very productive time of my (now old) self. But I can't believe how stuffy my earlier book title sounded until a good friend told me his impression. We are often self deluded about these things, I have learned. If you have really good friends they can tell you things you can't discern yourself.

(63,912 posts)so far, what an exciting project this is!
I have some wonderful things to say about DU in my preface. If it weren't for you folks, I would never had the courage to consider having it go to print (I am self publishing). I wouldn't have had dared.
The book is entitled "Immutable Truth: Essays on Art 2014-2016".

(6,810 posts)but I want you to know how much I enjoyed your art lessons on DU. For some reason I always thought you were a guy, nice to know you are, in fact, a gal. From a stranger: well wishes and happiness for the future.
