Republican senate candidate Roy Moore accepted donation from Nazi group: report

Roy Moore, the controversial Republican senate candidate in Alabama, accepted a $1,000 donation from Nazi supporter Willis Carto’s organization, according to reports.
Carto was a famous Holocaust denier who received a Purple Heart during World War II only to later say he regretted fighting for the U.S. since he considered Hitler’s fall the demise of Europe and America.
In 2005, Carto’s non-profit Foundation to Defend the First Amendment sent $1,000 to Moore’s Foundation for Moral Law, according to public tax documents reviewed by the Huffington Post.
The Foundation to Defend the First Amendment has also donated money to numerous Holocaust deniers and 9/11 truthers, along with Carto’s publications like The Barnes Review, which made the case that Hitler should have won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1938.
