And then joins the guy responsible
Is appalled that this congresswoman(who is very close to the family) would listen in on the phone call as he listens in on the other end
It's all her fault the widow is hurt and trump was brave to make the call in the first place
This guy is nothing but an enabler
He has no control over trump
He just covers for him

(58,785 posts)Advice on what to do after the news that the nukes are on their way?
Frankly, if Kelly kisses Rump's ass for real, as long it MIGHT keep 100 million people in the Koreas and who knows how many here alive, I'd personally be glad keep him in chapsticks.
Speaking of supplies, if power goes down tonight, how many days until YOU are walking miles to stand in line for water or food that very possibly may not come for weeks? Two days? Four?

Trump so they can be the adults in the room. And maybe talk him out of pre-emptive military/nuclear attacks.

(16,093 posts)Mattis and Kelly are nothing more then self serving hacks...the only reason they are part of this administration is because both men would have faded into obscurity and eventually forgotten!
Trump provided them with a way to remain relevant, all they had to do was to sell their honor and integrity, which both did easily!
Even when Kelly was head of DHS his lips weren't far from Trump's ass...
Mattis has a bit more autonomy being Secretary of Defense, but when push comes to shove he'll be kissing one butt cheek while Kelly kisses the other one!!!!

Apparently, Trump didn't alert the widow who he was allowing to listen in on anything she might say.
Sounds rather hypocritical.

(7,299 posts)listened in on the conversation (she did so at the families request, hence the reason for the call being on speakerphone). However, 45 yesterday explicitly said the congresswoman was lying because there were others in the room listening to the call. Kelly cant have it both ways FFS. His partisan outrage is duly noted sinking his credibility to zero in my books.

(9,145 posts)There is no getting around that. I think when he was being "consoled" by his pal, Kelly probably took some blame for his son's death. Far different from a widow of two with another on the way. Apparently neither he nor zero empathy tRump could see a difference. They're all covering their butts for the Iraq war gone viral.
