Affordable Care Act 2018 Renewal

62-year-old woman, who has always had health insurance with a brief exception as a young adult. I have been self-employed for a while and was fortunate enough to live in Maryland that did have a pricey health plan before the ACA. While the ACA was not what I hoped for, it was a huge benefit that was grateful for and my premium costs did go down. Since then they have gone up - last year there was a big jump, due rolling into a higher age bracket. Went to bronze HSA eligible - $612 per month, $6,995 deductible. That same plan for 2017 will cost $849.00 - a 40% increase. I am making more money than ever before, and even though my husband is on Medicare our premium costs annually, before paying for any medical appointments, procedures, or medication will be: $14,388.00.

We don't make that much money, but enough to not qualify for any subsidies. But there really is no other choice.
