If there ever was an apt comment to leave as a legacy to the people of the US....

I can almost forgive him for dropping Palin into our now injured national consciousness....

I will respect his service to the country however.

I hope *Rump angrily bleeds from his whatever....

killing the ACA, but in reality he voted to bring it to the floor to torpedo a bad bill. There are a lot of things I can never forgive him for--most notably inflicting Sarah Palin on us--but I do have to give him props for saving the ACA. I think he really did want a bipartisan solution, not just kill it.

... shares responsibility for consigning the late great United States to the ash heap of history, if it indeed comes to that.

I have long thought the 2003 invasion of Iraq will be seen by future historians as a tipping point, but that may be obscured by the damage being done by the creature 45 to our role as leader of the free world.

I applaud this statement.
But he is also one of most two-faced politicians in Washington. His actions, in voting, are light years away from some of his public statements. (That last vote not withstanding). He'll happily help to dismantle the social safety net, pollute the environment, reduce civil rights, and vote himself and his rich buddies huge tax cuts, along with his GOP peers.

Its not hard to agree that Trump, as a person, is a distasteful POS. That' easy.

McCain, a former Navy pilot who spent 5½ years in a Vietnam prisoner of war camp and is battling brain cancer, offered a simple response to Trump: "I have faced tougher adversaries."

Well said by someone who actually wore a military uniform, rather than a costume at a adolescence convalescence institute.

Fair winds and following seas, Senator McCain.
