He'd make a great President. Maybe the best ever. And he'd get lots of support from

both Democrats and moderate Republicans.

He’s from NY and so he’d automatically get 29 electoral college votes. He’s VERY smart; he had a top boarding school and Ivy league education. (He attended an Ivy league law school, too, but dropped out when he passed the NY bar – which is not easy to do! JFK, Jr., failed it the first time). He has several children and has been married to the same woman forever (a few flings but no one cares about those anymore.)

He comes from a family so wealthy that he could probably afford to fund his own campaign (for real – not fake, like DT). He's already had some Republican endorsements. But he REALLY understands the plight of the average working person, and he’s got all kinds of plans to help them. And he is a FANTASTIC speaker (on talk radio, at least – he doesn’t make the same impression in person.)

Doesn’t he sound PERFECT? Isn’t he exactly the kind of candidate you’ve been wishing would run? And on top of everything else – he’s the most experienced person out there!

There’s just one little problem. His current address is in Hyde Park, NY – just north of Poughkeepsie. About 6 feet under.

Oh, well. It was a nice little fantasy while it lasted. If only a young FDR were still alive, I know DUers would be welcoming him with open arms!

He is so young (37 now). I'm seeing him more as VP this time around. But we'll see. pnwmom Oct 2017 #2

Joe Kennedy III -
Great heart, right on the issues*,good speaker, no scandals, good looking,(hey, in this day and age it counts), youth(40) to balance the old man.

Of course there will be the dynasty BS, but JFK was his great uncle which is somewhat removed. Whatever negative there is about him being a Kennedy is balanced because he is a Kennedy.

*some will hit the roof because he is against marijuana legalization. He's not against medical mj, and not for heavy enforcement.
He says he needs to be convinced. As always there are some DUers who make this their one issue. Most people don't care.
