So she took something way out of context and provided a direct quote, but her rebuttal is that conservatives are allowed to take some liberties with paraphrasing because articles are long and boring?

Since when do direct quotes become paraphrases? If you think it's boring, then why bother writing in the first place since you will just be adding to all the boringness? Just how far do these "liberties" extend for conservative writers?
