...farmers market. I am a vendor there and for the last 3 yrs I have had the same stall mates. Two such women are really sweet...ex business owners..one an ex teacher...but so IGNORANT!

They are both Trumpers but I doubt they even keep up with all the shit he is doing. Last year one said she couldn't vote for Hillary because she 'slept the entire time of the Benghazi raid'...I just looked at her with my mouth hanging open. And last week the same lady started on about how PR doesn't 'help themselves'... I cleverly pretended I mis heard her and I started talking about the all heart break, no electricity, no water, no homes ( hubby caught on and joined in). Shut lady up....but she had this goofy smile like she was agreeing with us..?

But then ( getting back to the foundation) the lady on the other side of me was so proud of herself sharing with me info about how the 'Clintons took all the foundation money for themselves'. SHE BELIEVES THIS!
Now I do like both these ladies...they are my age maybe a tad older...but it would be like arguing with AUNT BEA!!! I just smiled and said 'OK I will do my own research on that and see if its true or not'.

Education doesn't make a person smart I figured out.

8. It won't 'convince' Trumpetors, but it may help to plant seeds

I’ve tried similar arguments with Trumpetors, with absolutely no success so my first thought was along the lines of Eliot Rosewater’s: It won’t help.

But then it occurred to me that there’s also the incredibly large number of people who seem to hate Clinton(s) and Obama much more than they actually support Trump. Furthermore, in many of these cases, they “just don’t trust her/him” or some other vague, nonsensical thing, which seems to be primarily due to hearing a constant barrage of unchallenged BS, like the lies of about the Clinton Foundation, Benghazi, etc., etc.

While this sort of thing might have less than zero effect on the true Trump supporters, there’s a vast number out there that just need a few seeds of truth to take hold which will eventually start break through all the manure.

9. One to watch out for

The one about the Clinton Foundation that I heard passed around a lot is that they only give away a small fraction of the money given to them. I even had to call some Progressives on this because they were citing this as a reason to not be thrilled with Hillary.

This is one of those falsehoods that is really devious because it is a truth that has been completely twisted to mean something else.

The reality is that the Clinton Foundation does not give away a large percentage because they actually do the charitable work themselves. They hire people to go to these places and run programs.

He stated flat-out, straight to the camera, that the Clinton Foundation only gave away 10% of their fundraising to charities. He just straight-out LIED. That weasely little albino Christofascist SNAKE! He had it almost exactly upside down. It's quite the opposite, in reality. That figure is roughly what they keep. They give the vast majority away.
