Trump said Puerto Rico had no electrical grid before the hurricane

Speaking to the press today Trump again attacked Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans.

Said the military is handing out food and water and they shouldn't have to -- the Puerto Ricans should do it.
Apparently there was no island wide electrical system before the hurricane.
It's difficult to help them because it's an island surrounded by water.
We're sending them supplies but no one's distributing it.
They already owe billions of dollars in debts.
They now have more generators than any place on Earth.

See, I know some respoonders and the word is that the infrastructure was in bad shape before with lots of retrofit. This is complicating things.

Someone obviously briefed El stupido on these difficulties, and this is what his Neanderthal brain took away from the briefing.

Thing is, that's more expensive to implement. Better long-term in areas subject to high winds on a relatively frequent basis.

Did Puerto Ricans live a primitive lifestyle,
maybe in little grass huts,
hunting and gathering for their daily meal?

Only accessible by canoe?

That seems to be the picture Trump wants to paint.

They were already in the dark (with no island wide electrical system before the hurricane) so I guess they should be used to it. Seems they're lying that their electrical grid was destroyed since you believe they didn't have one.

Well, those PR certainly seem dumb to drink contaminated water. When they just need to stop being so lazy and go get the undistributed water. Geez, some people.

Just WOW! His distaste for helping PR is coming through loud and clear. And what does their debt have to do with hurricane devastation? Not sure it's even possible but hoping someone is steering those coming to the Mainland to locations to help turn red states blue -- probably not feasible but hoping against hope anyway.

From what I've heard and read, many Puerto Ricans are relocating to Florida.

Many of the current hispanics in Florida are Cuban, and pro-Trump.

I can't see folks from PR supporting him. They've seen how he's supported them in their time of need so I believe they'll have long memories from this experience alone.
