President Trump attacks the media more than anything else on his Twitter, according to a new analysis from Axios.
Trump, who uses his infamous Twitter account to publicly call out his opponents, most often slams the media, with 89 of his 167 attacks on Twitter since the inauguration aimed at various news outlets or personalities.
Fifty-six of the attacks were addressed to specific major news outlets, including the New York Times (17), CNN (13), and NBC (12). Of the 89 attacks on media, 33 decried "Fake News," a term that Trump popularized during the election.
Trump called reports from NBC "fake news" this week after it reported that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had called Trump a "moron" earlier in the summer, and that he had briefly considered resigning his post in the administration.
