If so, you might think it's not worthwhile contacting them about issues. Right now, though, a lot of them are getting worried about the stink of Trump clinging to them.
Let them know that you don't like Trump's meddling with healthcare and tell them you're worried about that issue affecting you and your family. Tell them that the Iran agreement really needs to stay in place. Explain to them that blindly following Trump's lead is going to hurt their chances for re-election.
Email them. Call them. Send them snail mail letters.
It's worth doing. Really!

On another note: Why have I always thought that your 'user pic' is actually you?
Interesting..

Occasionally we get a "you don't understand the issues" letter from one of them.

(10,279 posts)Only Rep. Mark Walker (NC-6) has replied. He sent a snail mail that was a decent response to my issues, which surprised me as I have never seen an advertisement for a town meeting with him. I once worked in a political office, so I know that Walker did not actually read my letter. But, he does read the tally sheet on support for the issues.
He stated in his letter that he preferred I send future messages to him on email or social media. I suspect that the cost of generating a paper copy and envelope is too expensive for him. So, I will be sending all my messages via snail mail.
