Young Mr. Lincoln...

Earlier this year I came across an episode of the 50's western series TRACKDOWN on youtube where star Robert Culp confronts a con man named TRUMP who comes into town.

Just now I'm watching Young Mr. Lincoln on Netflix and Abe, played by Henry Fonda, stops a lynching at the jail door (of two guys who defended their wives against harrassment).

Then right after - Lincoln gets a letter from Mary Todd (his future wife) inviting him to a supper and dance at the CLINTON home so they may tell him how much they "... admire your conduct during the recent DEPLORABLE uprising."

Strange but true.
