The 54 to 64 group is the one the Republucans want to kill. They want to kill us before we can claim the Social Security and Medicare that we have worked our asses off to have.

If it's Republican, I hate it - whoever or whatever.

It also will allow lower priced policies, that don't have to meet your state of residencies rules, to be sold across state lines. The problem will be that any negative fallout won't happen for years. It will take a lot of people buying crappy policies and the getting very sick and not being covered before there would be any backlash. The fact is that most people who don't have coverage through work will be able to find a relatively cheap policy, and they won't understand it's crap until they get quite ill. It will seem like a better way to go for awhile. For those of us over 50 that know what to look for in an insurance policy the premiums will become unaffordable.

pre-existing conditions, lifetime caps, coverage of children under parents insurance, preventive care, etc - that protected people under ACA?
