Whether Sandy Hook, the Boston Marathon, now Las Vegas (all of the horrific events, I suspect, but I don't go looking for them) - the Alex Jones types of the country are now emboldened by our fearful "leader" and all of the loonies that are now coming out of the woodwork.
to me, it also extrapolates to the Ditkas Jerry Joneses and types that are making hay over the kneeling thing.
There is nothing decent that is not being hijacked to fulfill the sick fantasies of what I expect is some sort of twisted revenge by the right for what they must perceive as being marginalized (which is utter bullshit)
There is simply an unbelievable level of lack of empathy, of cruelty, of narcissism going on that is only getting worse.
I have no idea where all of this will end up, but this trajectory simply cannot hold.
