Trump and Melania reportedly compared life in the White House

Trump and Melania reportedly compared life in the White House to being in a Venezuelan jail

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-and-melania-reportedly-compared-life-in-the-white-house-to-being-in-a-venezuelan-jail/ar-AAsZQwc?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp

Lilian Tintori, who is married to Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, was at the White House to discuss human rights in Venezuela.

Many view Lopez as a political prisoner who has been jailed for nearly 14 years on trumped up charges related to a period of deadly antigovernment protests in 2014.

During the visit with Tintori, Trump seemed unfamiliar with her and her experiences, according to The Washington Post, though he reportedly knew enough to have "praised her past a reality television star in Venezuela's version of 'Survivor.'"
Trump and the first lady also reportedly tried to commiserate with Tintori through a source of their own discomfort — the White House.
Melania said she sympathized with what Lopez had gone through in jail in Caracas, Venezuela, noting that the White House felt as confining as prison, two people familiar with the meeting told the Post. Trump reportedly agreed.

Naturally they deny it.

They see it as a "prison" because they don't belong there. The Trumps don't feel a civic duty nor do they see their purpose as serving the nation. Trump's candidacy began as a publicity stunt that suddenly took on a life of its own. It got away from them and it became a train that couldn't be stopped.

Melania never wanted to be there. She has no interest in being First Lady. Her life must be torture. And I have no pity for her. She can walk away any day of the week.

Not because it is a dump, as trump reportedly called it. But rather because security is so tight on the first family that they seldom ever get to do normal things. I remember when Michelle Obama went shopping at Target one time. She had secret service people, of course, but she pushed a basket and shopped like a regular person—

and bad mouthing it constantly. But to do that to a woman who was actually in prison is grotesque.

This does not make sense - has been jailed for nearly 14 years on trumped up charges related to a period of deadly antigovernment protests in 2014.

In fact, in September 2015 he was sentenced to 13 years and 9 months in jail. He has been jailed for a little over 2 years.

I would assume that Tintori was appropriately appalled by the insensitivity ... not to mention someone should tell Melania that she can actually leave the WH whenever she wants and she will be protected wherever she goes.

Not to mention, I think about 60 plus percent of the US might like it if both she and her husband told the country that they want out.

then I googled. He has been in and out of prison, under house arrest arrested again. There is a revolving door from his house to his jail cell.
