The NRA and gun industry agenda favors/appreciates such mass shootings.
Their stock and sales go up.
Gun sales decreased after Trump was elected.

(13,081 posts)Now all we need is a sensible, not-crazy counter flowchart to work from. And forty years, and the profits from a multi billion dollar industry, and enough politicians bought off to hire enough not-crazy judges, and propagandists as good as the NRAs. I would say a university and think tank designed specifically to counter originalist bullshit, but then I remembered that the opposite of Scalias judicial philosophy is literally any consistent legal philosophy, since he/theyre just making it all up as they go along so they can get what they want politically.
Now that I think about it, that would be a pretty good way to vet a judicial appointment: take one of Scalias dumber decisions, but one with plenty of purple prose to make it SEEM legit to stupid and/or unalterably biased people, and have them explain it, followed by their own opinion. If they support it, theyre clearly unqualified, as theyre obviously either dumb or cant separate their personal biases to a significant extent.

(19,204 posts)to be funny. "Cartoons" doesn't seem to be the correct word this week. "Realizations" would be more apropos.
