Why do gun nuts pile on the moment you get the slightest technical fact wrong about guns, or simply use the wrong word? I was flamed on Twitter after I mentioned the bumpstock that turned the Las Vegas shooter's AR-15 into an automatic. The wingnuts predictably jumped and argued the technicality that it was still not at automatic. WHO GIVES A SHIT AT 800 ROUNDS PER MINUTE?

They act like the non-gun-humper can't understand the massacre of little children unless they are a gun addict.
The nomenclature game makes them feel superior because they think guns are the essence of life.
The bump stock is a mechanism for circumventing the intent of laws restricting automatic weapons. They are too stupid and addicted to guns to get it.
Screw them.

(22,976 posts)Im being pretty serious here. They love their weapons so much, and have invested so much energy, money and time into them, its like calling someones child strange, and the parent immediately corrects you with, No, hes actually on the autism spectrum. (Bad example, I know, but Im running on about two hours sleep.)
