Even at ranges that didn't when I was a range master I didn't allow them when I was running the range.
They make any kind of aimed fire almost impossible unless you have practiced a ton with them, and really just serve to turn money into noise for enjoyment.

It also bans concealed or loaded weapons at its annual meeting and at most gun shows. The NRA knows the risks.
