You know, I'm not going to be satisfied with just his tax returns....

**I posted within another thread but think this is important to the keep pressure on**

I want to see his accounting of those off shore accounts.

I also want to see the names of those who have/are donating via Romney's bundlers.

Between those 3 things, his Mass. record, his record at Bain, his record of companies owned by Bain, there will be enough information to bring him down during what is going to be a hellish GE.

We need all those things. Every American citizen has the right to know ALL of those things before we put a piece of shit like this in charge of the WH.

more.. Willard stated he's not releasing more of his tax returns.

I wonder how many people here know in 2010 he gave more money to his "church" than he did the IRS??

Biggest job interview in the world and he refuses to disclose his personal and business information.

If I were in HR his application would be tossed straight into the trash!

redundancy doesn't work with the so called "undecided" voters. I just don't think this gets alot of
traction with voters... I see the shoulder shrug, "Oh, another rich politician is lying about his taxes..
his wealth, what else is new?"

6. It's not as much as him lying but how HIS actions effect the American middle/working classes.

Not just HIS actions but those of the 1% who are guilty of similar actions.

That's the important part that will resonate into even the thickest of heads.

it's more and more clear just how badly we in the 99% are being screwed over by the 1% criminals, ress and
their enablers in our so called congress

do you read Taibbi in Rolling Stone? the guy is dead on with his reporting.

the question is where/when is the tipping point?

9. Yes he's said that, and sort of painted himself into a corner by doing so.

His resistance is "making a big deal' out of something that shouldn't be a big deal. People recognize such behavior as suspicious. This is only going to get worse until he releases those tax returns--it's going to produce more flailing of the kind Mitt directed at Theresa Heinz.

But now releasing the returns creates the danger of looking like he's giving in to pressure from the left...and that explains in part why
the R's calling for release of those records. The r's are actually trying to give Mitt an escape from that impression.

George Will seems to have it correct. Mitt has made a life doing cost-benefit analysis. We're left to assume that whatever is in those tax-returns is more damaging than the damage associated with an entire nation speculating about what's hidden in them.

7. So if we can examination his past history, the odds of Romney

siphoning off federal money to his many companies (I'm including his church as a company) and interests and those of his donors and other associates....."cronies", what does this say about the kind of POTUS he would make? What legislation would he try to create or support? And how it would continue to ruin the lives of middle and working class Americans?

And since Mr. Romney refuses to divulge much of his financial history, there MUST be something there that would tell exactly what America would be getting if he were lead this country.

8. How many people have had to divulge personal and private information in order to get a job?
Wed Jul 18, 2012, 08:53 AM

Drug tests, credit scores, your personal (but public) life on the internet, etc.

If you were to work for the Federal government, the screening is even more indepth than that.

Why is it unreasonable to ask a presidential candidate to do what an every day American must do?

11. True.
Wed Jul 18, 2012, 09:14 AM

But there are many websites about how to beat a drug test probably because we can assume that there are lots of people interested in beating drug tests they might otherwise fail.

Mitt's problem starts with those follow on assumptions of meaning . We see him trying to beat this "income tax" issue. It immediately suggests there is a THERE there. And so his behavior goes from having something embarrassing (at least, it could be worse than embarassment) in his taxes to the presumption that Mitt has a major character flaw and is guy who prefers 'cover-up' is preferable to truth.

No one wants to re-elect Dick Nixon.

What proof do we have that he wasn't born in Germany and his real father was of Hitler's blood line? How can we be sure? He doesn't like non-whites, wants to concentrate power and wealth in the elite, and just has that "evil" look. Why won't he release his long-form birth certificate?

Sound familiar?

I'm concerned about what effects me, my family, friends, neighbors, middle class and working people, any one who falls into the 99% catagory.

He claims to be a business man. That this business experience ARE his job qualifications.

Well to Romney I say, let's all learn more about your business practices, that of your company, its subsidiaries. How would this experience effect those mentioned above.

Legitimate reasons for wanting answers to those questions.

The right uses the "How do we know (somebody) isn't a (something derogatory). We don't know. There's know proof that (somebody) isn't a (something derogatory). Why won't they prove they aren't?" approach all the time. Fortunately the Obama camp doesn't have to do that with rMoney. He's providing them with all the video clips they need to just present him as he is in their ads.

to move American manufacturing jobs to their factories overseas? Perfect setup for Bain, IMO. Bain gets investment. The foreign investors get work from American companies. American companies get slave labor. Plus it's a tax shelter so nobody pays taxes on it.
