MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on Wednesday went through a list of words Rex Tillerson might as well have called Donald Trump, after reports indicated the secretary of state once called the president a “f*cking moron.”

“Confident presidents surround themselves with a cabinet and advisors smarter than they believe themselves to be,” Matthews explained on Wednesday. “By that standard, Donald Trump has expanded his horizons. He’s selected a secretary of state … who thinks the president is a moron. Moron.”

“According to the dictionary, Secretary Tillerson could have just as accurately said idiot, blockhead, dunce, ignoramus, imbecile,” Matthews continued. “Want more? Half-wit, dope, nincompoop, dimwit, dingbat, dumbo, ditz, numbskull, numbnut, thickhead, chowderhead, doofus.”

Noting Tillerson declined to deny reports he used such language to describe the president, Matthews added, “these are not my words.”
