Is Sheriff Lombardo saying there could have been an accomplice?

I'm listening to this press conference and it seems that he doesn't think it was the act of only one person. Did I hear him suggest this?

The Sheriff seems very exhausted.

Said he couldn't imagine anyone except a super (monster) pulling this off alone.

Anyone with a brain, money, a complete lack of empathy and the internet could do this.

he got all the weapons and ammunition into the hotel, including his car. So, they're looking at that angle, a possible accomplice.

taking 10 hard cases or even large duffel bags up to a room isn't that big a deal, especially if you have a few days in which to do it.

I had NPR on, the LV based reporter said, all the hotels have metal detectors at the doors but, this particular hotel didn't have detectors at all the doors.

Personally, I think the sheriff should have kept his mouth shut about this angle of the investigation. All the angle is based on is the sheriff's question, "how?" No matter what though, the "it's a false flag" meme about the entire crime is already out there.

could do this.

Let's see.
1 Anyone can buy any sort of gun in this country. Laws prohibiting felons are meaningless. In two words: gun shows.
2 Anyone who is interested can figure out how to alter guns so as to make them fully automatic.
3 Booking a room or suite in a high rise hotel is easy.
4 Figuring out which hotels have the kind of security that might notice you're bringing in massive amounts of weapons an ammunition is easy. Avoid those hotels.
5 Put up a do not disturb sign. No big deal.

I'm sure I've left out some things, but it's not at all difficult or complicated to figure out.

Oh, and underlying it all is that we live in a society where mass entertainment media (TV and movies) routinely show that problems can be solved by shooting up people and places.

As I said, not complicated or difficult at all.
