1. If you're talking about the latest phenom(?) I like his style

he goes big with those double jeopardies - plus he doesn't (at least to me) come off as a jerk.

Austin, isn't it? Anyway he kind of reminds me of Roger from a while back.
he has beaten some fairly decent players already.

2. Yes -Austin - I like him

He's funny and smart. He's having a great run - six days now

3. At some point he'll get burned by his big wagering

but I am sure enjoying his run.

If I recall, both Roger and Ken Jennings ended their streaks missing final questions that seemed relatively easy.

Another funny thing I have witnessed over the years is that a player who seems brilliant one day can look like a HS dropout a day or 2 later.

Austin is sure cranking out some major numbers.

4. He got final wrong today

but he was so far ahead it didn't matter. Today's game was fairly close until he got that second double.

up the money isn't he??? He'll be on the Championships. He's very good though.

after five wins and today was his sixth. I don't know if he's broken the earnings record but it looks possible.
