If now is not the time to talk about gun violence then neither is it the time

to take money from the NRA.

Republicans don't want to talk to the American people about our country's deadly gun violence problem but you can bet they aren't refusing phone calls and $$$$$$$ from the NRA.

These Republicans have done everything possible to PREVENT any type of government research into gun violence for more than 20 YEARS.

In 1996, the Republican-majority Congress threatened to strip funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention unless it stopped funding research into firearm injuries and deaths. The National Rifle Association accused the CDC of promoting gun control. As a result, the CDC stopped funding gun-control research — which had a chilling effect far beyond the agency, drying up money for almost all public health studies of the issue nationwide.

Until they end the moratorium on research and any realistic efforts to reduce gun violence they are COMPLICIT in the ongoing carnage.

I sent a letter to OUR Senator, Pat Toomey, asking him if THIS TIME he could do something about gun control FOR the people before he runs to the bank to check to see if the NRA has sent their $80,000 yet.

Have not heard back............................

I stated that I didn't understand how anyone who would vote for the Senate's bill to repeal Obamacare could sleep at night. I guess I struck a nerve.

Li'l Tim took a handout from the NRA when he wasn't busy telling his mistress to have an abortion.

Seems the guy has had more than one extramarital affair while he was busy telling people who they could marry and telling women what they could do with their bodies.
