It allows you to emulate an automatic weapon. You could YouTube it but I would probably not do that unless it is from someone's computer you do not like.

I would hate to be a seller of these things Karma and the FBI being what they are.

...a fully-automatic one (machine gun). It's a gun stock that uses the recoil motion (rather than discharge gases) to cause a new round to fire.

Bump stocks are simple pieces of equipment that replace the stock of a rifle and add a small "support step" in front of the trigger. The shooter rests his finger on this step and pulls forward on the barrel or forward grip to press the trigger against his finger. The recoil of the shot then propels the rifle backwards into a gap in stationary stock where the loose fit gives the rifle freedom to bounce forward. This, along with sustained forward pressure on the rifle, has the effect of 'bumping' the trigger back into the shooter's unmoving finger. So long as a shooter maintains forward pressure, the rifle will continue to fire at a rate much faster than could be accomplished with even the quickest possible series of manual trigger pulls.

It lets you hold your arm and hand stiff and use your shoulder "bouncing back" as the mechanism for shooting the weapon. Since your arm bounces back "naturally" it causes the gun to fire much faster than you can pull the trigger. To the extent that you can shoot a semi-automatic weapon like a machine gun.

They've made rulings and reversed them in the past. They could say the bump fire stock has become the auto sear and trigger, thus making it a machine gun.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they have the power to do so. They come up with rulings on what is or isn't a machine gun all the time.

It's up to the plaintiff's lawyers to exert some gun control since Congress won't.

gunners whine about needing to feed their family, protect their compound from unlikely home invasions, South Chicago where they've never been, and other white wing BS.

You wouldn't believe the gun sounds I hear out here in the country. One sounds like a cannon. I just hope they're not aiming toward my property.

We have a 22 rifle. Seriously, you pretty much have to have a weapon out here in the boonies. Raccoon coming for the chickens...snake attacking a duck....sadly it's a necessity.

The gun sounds I hear around here are pretty scary. There are certainly automatic weapons around. It frightens me.

bump stock. Just read that the application to ATF was based on BS that the bump stock was needed as an aid for people with bad hands. Gun-humping is certifiably a mental disease.

I certainly don't have an issue with a .22s on the farm. Too many of these white wing sickos try to convince us they need a ton of guns to maintain and defend their compound.

"On the other hand, the bump fire technique coupled with the easy availability of high capacity magazines gives a person essentially a select fire auto.

Now here's a video showing a slide stock that can be fitted to many semi-auto AK-47s and AK-74s. With high capacity magazines, you got yourself a (legal in most states) machine gun."

A gatling trigger is a good idea for an old man, but this guy was dedicated to wholesale murder, he perfected shooting bump stocks. You're going to find that he went to a lot of Vegas' gun ranges over the past few months and was known as the "bump stock guy." Something to that effect.

The gatling trigger doesn't quite make sense because it doesn't have the same "feel" that a bump stock has. And psychologically I think this guy wanted to "feel" "satisfied" in his wholesale murder of people.

Bump stocks will be banned in short order, with even Republicans coming on the side of the vote.

with the use of the bump fire stock.

From his location 32 floors up, Paddock continued firing for about 10 or 11 minutes according what one spokesperson for Las Vegas law enforcement said. It was more than an hour before the SWAT team located his hotel room.

It is very reasonable to assume that without the bump fire stock there would have been fewer casualties.
