In Nevada, open carry is the law. As a result, no need whatever to hide guns going to your room.

To be sure, one would want to hide full auto guns, but a simple gun case is all that's needed. No need to hide the fact you have guns with you, even lots of guns. In this case, you just don't want to reveal the exact kind of guns you have. However, a casual look-see at, let's say, a Bushmaster, would not reveal if the gun was legal semi-auto or illegal full auto.

Add to all this the fact that a massive gun show is going to happen in a few days. Any guns this guy had would be just background noise to all the other guns in town. Enough to make Cialis unnecessary for Wayne LaPierre.

In short, getting his arsenal up to his room is easy as pie.

"Weapons of any type (guns, knives, nightsticks, mace, pepper spray, stun guns etc.) are strictly prohibited on Mandalay Bay property. Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies may carry weapons on Mandalay Bay property in the performance of their official duties. These agencies must contact Mandalay Bay Security Management prior to arriving on property."

Nevada is bat-shit crazy about guns. I would imagine Mandalay, and other casino hotels, have a policy about guns on the premises, but there is that state law. And given that they're in the business of making money, I'd guess they tend to look the other way when booking rooms, especially when there is a gun show in town. I mean, really...where all all the gun show exhibitors staying? In hotels.

You can walk from the Parking garage to the elevators once you have a room card totally undetected. Plus, there is Construction between the Parking Garage and the Hallway to the escalator to the Hotel Desk. So much foot traffic in and around the Desk Area.
