Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy on last night's shootings:

(highlighting is mine)

“This must stop. It is positively infuriating that my colleagues in Congress are so afraid of the gun industry that they pretend there aren't public policy responses to this epidemic. There are, and the thoughts and prayers of politicians are cruelly hollow if they are paired with continued legislative indifference. It's time for Congress to get off its ass and do something."

and mass shooting. If you review mass shooting over the past 8 years, as Republicans have gained control in DC and the states, mass killings have increased. The states have removed many laws protecting US citizens. Now Speaker Ryan will soon pass a bill allowing silencers to be used on guns. With the NRA and ALEC pushing thru killer bills, America is at greater risk for being killed. Remember ALEC is a non-profit, not paying taxes, but pushing the conservative agenda across all states.

I guess Senator Murphy is showing insensitivity towards the victims.

This was just part of a series:

With 79% of North Dakota residents in favor of Background Checks, the NRAs "A+" Stooge John Thune voted against them.

in Sandy Hook. What a great rep! I admire and respect him enormously. I can't say that for very many reps these days.
