In the minutes and hours after the Las Vegas shooting, various right-wing entities, no doubt disappointed by the fact the shooter wasn't an immigrant or Muslim, pounced on UNRELIABLE Facebook info, and came up with Marilou Danley (ID'd as being with the actual shooter in some capacity), and found references to her (likely previous) husband/partner, Geary Danley. The misinformed sources were workshopping the idea that the Danleys were a violent, left-wing family, and pumping that lie through the backwaters of the net. For that matter, they probably are still hoping that Stephen Paddock is a "wild-eyed liberal," too. Example:
