Tipping point reached? Start a drumbeat for impeachment / 25th with a statement & memes like ...

I think the tipping point may have been reached with Republican President tRump's deranged tweets about Puerto Rico today (more than just off-base / annoying / nuts: definitely deranged). It's the tip of the iceberg of his racism, his 1%-ism, and his willful ignorance.

I think now might be the time to start a drumbeat for impeachment or removal by 25th Amendment.

Short pithy statements are needed to remove the roadblock to correcting the situation. Such as:

"The only obstacle to impeaching failed President Trump is the Republican corruption."

or "... is the power-mad Republican caucus."
or "... is willfully blind Republicans."
or

"The only obstacle to removing deranged President Trump by the 25th Amendment is willfully blind Republicans."

or

"Only willfully blind Republicans block impeaching Trump. Remember in 2018."

He's not in real danger until he loses foxnews and his ultra rich backers.

If he fails to get a tax cut for billionaires passed, then he's toast.

Trump’s Disgraceful Puerto Rico Attack
By Daniel Larison • September 30, 2017, 10:48 AM

Trump’s attack on San Juan’s Mayor Yulin Cruz this morning included a broader insult to people in Puerto Rico:

At 7:09 a.m., Trump wrote: “The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.”

Seven minutes later, he wrote: “…Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort.”

Attacking a local official who is pleading for help in the middle of a major disaster would be a cruel and politically inept thing to do in any case, but Trump manages to make it worse by casting blame on the overall local response in the wake of what is generally acknowledged to be the worst disaster in Puerto Rico’s history. He accuses leaders in Puerto Rico and the population more generally of wanting “everything to be done for them” because one of their politicians criticized the federal government for an inadequate response to the disaster. That’s a contemptible response to legitimate criticism, and a disgraceful way to treat Americans who are going through one of the biggest disasters on record. Trump cannot excuse the lacking federal response by pointing to the scale of the disaster and then fault local officials for not doing enough, and it is obnoxious to suggest that the “community effort” has been insufficient when this is a disaster that he very publicly neglected for most of the last week.

{...} Trump should stop berating the people struggling to cope with the aftermath of that storm, and his administration should be significantly increasing their efforts in order to make up for the failings of the federal response thus far.

far and wide, the truth of the present tax reform. How the poor and middle class essentially get nothing out of it. Ri-i-i-ght, $1000 that one could buy a car with: it'd have to be a clunker.

gotten a tax break except for when Obama gave them a payroll tax cut. I remember my Republican parents who just missed getting a Bush "tax cut for the wealthy" just assumed they would be getting a tax cut. I called them on it and said, "Did you make over $300,000 this year? If not you will not be getting a tax cut!" They looked at me like I had two heads but I could tell they thought I might be right. Yet, they never dared double-check to see if they did get a tax cut and reliably showed up to vote every two years for the SOBs even though they had basically had the wool pulled over their eyes a big chunk of their lives.

I can guarantee that if you were to go up to any Republican and ask them if they are getting a Trump tax break no matter WHAT they make they will say "yes." Or they will say they will next year "when they make more money."

A handful could end this tomorrow by telling Trump that if he does not resign, they will join Democrats and force a release of his tax returns. Faced with that, he would almost certainly quit within days. But the time for them to take action against him is starting to run out.

But there is another reality we have to know - Pence is also nuts.
