That he hadn't the first clue about where Puerto Rico was or even what it is until fairly recently. He seemed completely bewildered by it.

Yes, I think they are sadistic and their world view includes extinguishing the poor and people of color. Especially those that would use public resources. That's how they see them, not as fellow Americans.

Let's hope those forced to leave PR register Democratic Party and help us change things shortly.

Many in PR are on food stamps and medicaid. That plus their debt and these guys, actually most Republicans not just Trumpians, want to simply make that problem go away.

In the end they want PR to be uninhabitable and then they can take it over. That must be under discussion - disaster capitalism at its best.

happy to help them? As soon as they pay HIM every last penny that they owe the country. He and his goons are vile sadistic pieces of puss dripping shit. I would not be concerned in the least if they were there going through the same crap. I think they all have the worst Karma anyone could have at this time. I sure as hell would not want to be in their next life.

That's how insane he is. He is happy to say "Fuck you Puerto Rico, not going to do shit because of all the brown people there and anyone who has a problem with that can screw off."

This man is so predictable.

from stepping in to fund relief and rebuilding Puerto Rico.

He just doesn't want the money to come from this country.

Trump's a dimwit, but he realizes he won't get the money from Congress to build "his" wall if there isn't enough of it due to the allocation of funds for rebuilding Florida and Texas (and other states).

There's no good electoral reason to destroy PR. Driving its voters to live in Florida is an electoral disaster for Trump.

infrastructure for a long time. Dumb as The Donald is, he's a businessman himself, so some of his focus on PR's debt and aged infrastructure is undoubtedly natural to him. And of course he's unable to genuinely care about the plight of little people.

But Trump's administration is extremely heavily infiltrated by Koch and Spencer plants, such as his vice president, his legislative director, most of his cabinet appointees, and others. (The Kochs just lost Tom Price from HHS, but watch for who replaces him.) They're feeding him their plans for how to turn this disaster to their benefit, and of course to minimize the transfer of taxpayer dollars to PR rebuilding instead of their pockets, and/or potentially for rebuilding as part of funneling them into their profits.

In other words, all this talk on DU about Trump himself, as if he's our problem, is deluded. These wolves will get rid of him if and when he's no longer useful to them. Pence is waiting, and after him of course Paul Ryan and Orrin Hatch, both with strong ties to the Kochs.
