(1,201 posts)is too young to know what is going on. It's all about the parents providing a roll model and using the child as a photo prop which speaks volumes about Hillary's influence on women now and in the future. Wish Hillary would go after the real vote stealers and push to get rid of the outdated Electoral College. Hillary won if all the provisional ballots and suppressed votes were counted. This Republican nightmare will be the end of American Democracy if they are not stopped now.

(8,000 posts)in various types of media, girls often have a heroine to look up to. Sometimes it's an aunt or teacher, but with Hillary on tv so often, I can imagine a girl developing this attachment on her own, even one this young. Of course, the parents are likely supportive of Hillary themselves, but it doesn't necessarily mean the parents are just using the child for a photo prop.

with the incredible level of truth and directness, without political "niceness" thrown in so as not to mangle anyone's feelings, and that is SO essential right now. I am sure, as the former Secty of State, that she is appalled and horrified by what Russia did and continues to do. I don't see anyone else with the stature she has explaining this as well.
And yes, the photo is wonderful.

(5,801 posts)is that after the stunning disappointment of having the presidency stolen from her, at least now she gets to enjoy life and escape being subjected to a constant barrage of RW Hate Machine attacks. Not that she couldn't have handled them, and not that she doesn't get some anyway.
Plus, she can reflect on how much better off the nation would be doing under her leadership. Not gloating, just acknowledging reality that if the orange monster hadn't been wrongly installed, the nation would be moving ahead on a steady course of peace and prosperity instead of going down the RWNJ rabbit hole of further inequality and looming war.

(1,646 posts)I just want her not to run for any public office again. Other ways to contribute, sure.
That pic is adorable.

I think the scope how how positive this would have been goes beyond what we can imagine...sigh

(11,566 posts)Why would anyone want to erase Hillary and her many unprecedented accomplishments? She is a positive and powerful role model for women and girls around the world. In fact, we need many more just like her! Throughout history, too many of women's wonderful accomplishments have been swept under the rug and erased, instead of being respected and honored. What are people so afraid of? It's time to move forward out of the Dark Ages.
