The outrage and anger in defense of the wealthy...

It is amazing the hatred some folks can muster when they feel someone is attacking the rich.

Rush and his dittoheads are approaching a psychotic break. One asks, "Why don't 'we' make an ad showing Bill Clinton calling Romney's record as a businessman 'sterling'?" They are mad as hell and they are not going to take it anymore.

Their anger and hatred is so thick you can cut it with a butter knife. They cannot understand why their side is losing at the moment? Mitt Romney worked 16-18 hours a day to save the Olympics. Don't ask me how they know that - maybe they have his time card that he punched?

The poor, poor rich man. Why do those socialist Democrats keep attacking the "job creators" they ask? So much sympathy and compassion for Mitt Romney's class and hardly none for the single mother working as a waitress or the father working two jobs just to pay for gas and rent and a little food, with the help of some food stamps. No compassion for those folks. It it those rich folks that are being mistreated and abused by our system.

for his foreign investments. and He refuses to bellieve I paid a higher percentage in income tax than Romney. He insists they are job creators.

Venture capitalist Nick Hanauer speaking at the TED conferences about rich business people as job creators.

"When business people take credit for creating jobs, it's a little bit like squirrels taking credit for creating evolution. It's actually the other way around."

where are all the jobs? How long do we wait before we question whether that label is justified?

PS: And we can start by asking Boner, he said his republican led bagger house was going to create all types of jobs, yep, that sure worked well.

12. Thank you! The same argument works for trickle-down economics.

The United States has been giving tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires for years, where is this "trickle-down" effect the conservatives and rethuglicans speak of? I see no benefit for the other 98%. The goodies have only gone to the top 2%.

I hate the rich, and all their fucking entitlement-mentalities...

example: a woman driving a $75K+ Range Rover blatantly parks in a handicapped spot in front of our grocery store. Takes the time to drink her water and put on her lipstick before going in. She smiled at me like she was sooooooo smart when she came out of the store, I rolled down my window and said..."yea, and I bet you think Disability and Social Security is wrong, too!"
bitch

(yea, we called the cops, but it was saturday in our little tourist town and they aren't about to ticket the people who 'create' jobs by coming up here to visit....)

I didn't watch the video the first time and I won't bother watching it now. There was no link to it and I'm not going to waste my time listening to that fat-ass anyway.

My point was that it is normal to envy someone who has something you want. It's normal, I think, for me to want to live comfortably, to retire early, to be able to provide for my kids, to travel, or whatever. I envy rich people for their wealth. I'm not ashamed of that.

What is abnormal, in my opinion, is to envy the poor, which is what conservatives do. They think poor folks have it too good. They want to take away benefits of labor union workers, who have it so cushy. They want to eliminate unemployment benefits, for all those lucky souls who are just sitting around doing nothing all day. They want to eliminate minimum wage laws. They want the poor to pay higher taxes. They think health care should be a privilege enjoyed only by the well to do.

I stand by my statement. Most people, including most Democrats, envy the rich. Conservatives envy the poor.

I despise the rich for that very reason.

And their arrogance towards everyone else only fuels the hatred they so deserve.
