WARNING I think Cheney is going to speak from the Capitol

After msnbc cut off Romney, I checked Fox and they didn't cover him at all.
But they said Cheney was there at the Capitol and the camera showed the set up for a press conference. There was some sort of official looking seal on the podium and there were the velvet ropes. It must be important if they have the velvet ropes.

House Republicans have invited former Vice President and Defense Sectetary Dick Cheney to the Capitol today to discuss the pending defense sequester. The sequester would trigger hundreds of billions of dollars in automatic defense cuts in January due to the failure of the supercommittee. It’s part of the debt ceiling increase passed last summer.

Cheney will attend both a broad leadership meeting with the top GOP brass and a whip meeting. This will all start around 3:30 or 4 pm. The leadership meeting is usually back in the Boehner/Cantor suite off the second floor. Sometimes the whip meeting is down in Kevin McCarthy’s office on the first floor. They could also meet in a room down on the second level of the CVC.
