I think it needs to be said, it needs to be heard. In my opinion this was willfully throwing a wrench at ACA. It's his M.O

Other Dems were talking up a Single Payer/Medicare For All bill several weeks ago. Sanders isn't soloing on this. They all surmised that the repeal was dead. And it was, and likely still is. In the end, the GOP isn't going in on this. They'll do the same political calculations that they did with prior versions. They know that the US public will bury them if they actually vote to intentionally decrease the nation's quality of life. They're going to have to forego the fear that they might be primaried and do what's right. If GOPers are too lazy to defend themselves against a primary opponent, they probably shouldn't be in the political arena in the first place.

Sanders is right, and he's got a right to say what he wants. His listeners also can use discretion in deciding whether or not Sanders' statements resonate with them.

Sanders is a smart man, a political man, he knows exactly what he is doing. You know, Hillary is accused of not taking responsibility for her loss a lot. Sanders blames DWS, DNC. Rigged system, superdeleagtes, and everyone else. Not once have I heard him take responsibility for his loss. Why the double standard?

is politically expedient. They know that hanging on to the ACA and improving it is our best choice. That is doing what is right.

Yes, his listeners can use discretion and they can state their disagreement with him if they choose. Democratic members of Congress are not being given that same choice. Democrats who do not endorse his ideas have been threatened with primaries. That is wrong and divisive.

announced their repeal bill --- and immediately people were distracted by discussions of single payer and away from discussions of how to save the ACA.

You have a lot more confidence in the GOP than most of us do. They are extremely close to passing this. They only need either Ron Paul or Lisa Murkowski to change their minds and we're toast.

And they figure by the time the worst stuff kicks in, none of their constituents will remember that it was their votes that got us into the ensuing mess.

Senate Leadership's October Surprise. Single Payer has been gaining Signatures for over a month. And the GOP big money donors like the Koch Brothers,Walton's,and others wanted their Anti Obama Legislation passed before October, remember, any Tax cuts dealing with retro activity to 12/31/2016 are in major jeopardy and the Billionaire Class want their pound of flesh.

You spend a few hundred Million electing a band of Grifter's,you need your dividend.

We need to inspire people to our cause, Bernie does that quite well. People here used to admire speaking truth to power. Submitting to their will will enhance their power. Resist!
