Yes meant go get a warrant and then come back (and once that's done you don't need to tell the staff anything, but we'd appreciate it if you did).
No meant don't come back unless we call you for a problem.
The local PD in the community there knew there shit, were and are PROFESSIONAL and understood that they were Public SERVANTS.

The fucking COUNTY sent a full-on SWAT team with long guns for a drug bust for someone who wasn't even there.

Because they're kinda the opposite of who the CityPD guys are.

because they are traveling and don't have other places or can't afford other places.

i wish i was able to travel more but motel 6 would never be some place i would consider. and if i did it would have to be for the above reasons.
