I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie - both Ontario and Michigan. Very proud of them, and of our province's hydro workers in general.

After Ike the local power company did not call out the troops.

The company tried to repair the city themselves.

It took almost two weeks to get the power company from Virginia to my neighborhood.

We treated the power crews well.

They came on Saturday and by Sunday the power was back.
