Got a phone text from my sis mid-morning saying they had no power but were ok, then nothing since. Does anyone have an update?

(16,067 posts)1. I have lots of friends there. Trees down and power out everywhere
Most likely can't get a signal or dead battery.

(16,067 posts)2. Or napping. I'm in Jacksonville and didn't sleep much.

Much less impact than Hermine last year. Far fewer down power lines. In Leon co as of 5 pm about 38k without power. Don't know about Jefferson. I'm without power and I really don't expect it back anytime soon. I have not heard of any serious injuries. Some tree on houses but again much less than Hermine.

(16,385 posts)5. Thanks. I know her land line is down and her cell rarely works out there.
Although she did manage to send me a text much earlier. This makes me feel better. Gracious.

She said in her earlier text that power was out. Thanks so much!
