Man got new identity as Florida GOP secretary after attacking a girl with a hammer

This is not surprising for GOP, now the party of criminals and traitors.

https://news.vice.com/story/florida-gop-secretary-attacking-a-girl-with-a-hammer

A 28-year-old Broward County Republican is refusing to resign his position as party secretary after colleagues discovered over the weekend that he had once been prosecuted for brutally beating a high school girl with a claw hammer.

Rupert Ditsworth, who now goes by the name Rupert Tarsey, was charged with attempted murder for his 2007 attack on a fellow student at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. After checking into a psychiatric hospital following the attack, he escaped the most serious charges through a plea deal. He then ditched his native California for Florida and swapped Ditsworth for Tarsey — apparently in honor of his grandfather Jason Tarsey, who owned the former Dunes Hotel on the Vegas strip.

Republicans say they had no idea their new colleague had a fake name and a criminal background

“We were blindsided,” GOP chairman Bob Sutton told Gossip Extra, an independent Florida news service cross-published by the Miami Herald. “He’s a member of the Knights of Columbus, for Christ’s sake. And he came highly recommended by the former chair. We had no idea what his background is. We want him out but he is refusing to resign.”

“Why should I resign?” he told the Daily Mail.. “I did nothing wrong and I was elected. This is just party politics.”

That response should exclude him from being considered human. Not only remorseless, but turning it into near grievance.

But I agree that that kind of violence doesn't spring full-blown.

Also, he paid a firm to clean up his online reputation. We need to keep posting about it so at the very least, he has to pay them again to remove references on the internet.

I think they can kick him out of the party. Which should mean that he would be out as a party chairperson because he was not a member
As to his 'it's party politics'
He's a party chairman. That would make it party politics

Sounds like he has a lot of money. If it was that easy to track his old name and past, he wasted his money. Glad it is out in the open though. They should keep tabs on him in case he tries to change his name again and start new somewhere else.

The Republican party plagiarizes from these old 1940s cartoon scripts, the same old story.
