It is very unfortunate we have the one we do, but I am confident that will change in 2020. Sadly our government cannot constitutionally function without the executive. This same cycle has been going on for years and years. The old guard is replaced by the new. The new is, however, new and has a lot to learn about patience from our senior reps/senators. They've been fighting these jerks for decades, and overall I'd say we have won more battles than we've lost.
Don't lose hope, and remember that this situation is only temporary. However annoying it may be.
