John Kelly blisters Ann Coulter

Coulter has obviously never been in combat. Only a stupid fool would make light of a red alert intended to save lives. She and Limbaugh should be charged for criminal behavior the same as someone yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. This is not about free speech. It's about being stupid and insensitive.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly blisters Ann Coulter for joking about Hurricane Irma victims dying

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly took an out of character shot at conservative commentator Ann Coulter on Sunday for joking about the victims of Hurricane Irma.

The former general called Coulter out after she all-cap tweeted: “HURRICANE UPDATE FROM MIAMI: LIGHT RAIN; RESIDENTS AT RISK OF DYING FROM BOREDOM.”

Coulter’s tweet — which disregarded four deaths already attributed to Irma — irked Kelly who fired back, “Hard to understand the point of making light of honest attempts to warn people of danger.”

Kelly who reportedly is slowing Trump down from tweeting indiscriminately was congratulated for calling the conservative demagogue out, with one Twitter user pointing out that Coulter owns a home in Palm Beach, writing: “Coulter needs a reality check. She’ll be the first one applying for disaster relief. Maybe you can draft her and give her a dose or reality.”

Coulter seemed to not get the point, later tweeting: “I wish cables would mention the hurricane. There is a decidedly heavier-than-average morning dew in Miami; Palm Beach bordering on breezy.”

What would happen if we didn't rise to her bait? Does she have an actual following, the way Limbaugh does? I have a feeling that if we stopped feeding this troll, she'd go away.

Think of it, Republicans have convinced 40% of Americans that 'the media' is to blame for our problems.

It will be generations, if ever, to overcome the fascists here. I despair that it will take much bloodshed. I wish I saw it differently.

I mean what sort of charge does she get out of making such ridiculous and wildly insensitive comments? Her point might be that the eastern coast of Florida isn't getting hit as hard as the west... but, so what? So the fuck what?

I guess when your soul is so hollowed out and barren, you take your pleasure in mocking and belittling the plight of others.

As Trump might Tweet.... "Sad!"

This is not someone with s great deal of penetration into the pysyche of America's youth. Her wheelhouse is pervy older white men, and it always has been. And as she's gotten older and lost her looks she's even losing them which brings us back to why she's tweeting about Irma: A desperate need to stay relevant.

Not being a social media user, maybe I'm giving her too much credit. However, I've been under the impression these tweets can spread far and wide, depending on who they were sent to. Obviously, someone at RawStory picked up on it.

..of dealing with those who have no sense of reality...including the orange guy currently inhabiting the white house. That's certainly understandable for those who've been there, and done that, when dealing with those in the "arm chair" crowd, who's only accomplishment in their pathetic lives is running their pudgy, soft, white mouths.

I mean seriously, what is WRONG with her?? I guess I will never understand anyone who, upon waking and rising, has the sole purpose of being a dick (no offense to penises) and pissing off as many people as possible. Day after day - if given the chance and the exposure. What a sad way to live. She is to be pitied for being such a poor excuse for a human being.
