sort of like Joy. He really knows his shit and does a great job at whatever type of reporting/subject/issue they place him in and at all hours.

Very irresponsible. They had a producer come on last night and tell people in Miami and S Florida to go North. The worst place to be in a hurricane is on the highway. Also, the expected landfall of this storm like so many before has moved from S Florida toward the west and north. Unless you were in the Keys or in a mandatory evacuation area along the coast and were seeking shelter nearby, last night was too late to go anywhere.

I think most people in hurricane areas know that national news, and cable news in particular, is utterly worthless for keeping you informed of what the storm is doing in your area. So I hope no one heeded that producer's advice. But MSNBC should not have allowed him to go on television and say that stuff. They need to left the professionals handle evacuation matters. They can repeat what local authorities advise or order, but they should not be giving their own advice. In addition to being irresponsible, they can get the network sued.

I think their coverage will inspire many young people to go into STEM fields.
