As far as Sportsmen's organizations go, they are quite huge. Prominently in sporting shotguns and waterfowl hunting equipment. Founded in 1937... Membership 700,000

In fact, when I googled "DU" just now, Ducks Unlimited is the 5th result listed and Democratic Underground is the 9th result. The first result is the University of Denver.
