Why can't we?
We have less of a democracy than a struggling African nation.

(7,888 posts)is under the control of the republicons. We must get out the vote for every election, local, state and national. When we fail at this, the nutters acting against their own best interests will do even worse than steal an election.

Honestly, undoing elections sounds like a bad idea. Our country would be very unstable if we held an election whenever anyone got pissed off. We are country of laws, not whims.

There you will also find out: We are not a democracy, but a republic (if we can keep it, as Franklin said).
There are no presidential election Mulligans under our constitution. There's nothing in it that allows any do overs if people dislike the results.
There are two methods to remove a president, however. I suggest that people focus on them rather than silly what-ifs on non-existent election do overs.
Alas! It is what it is.
