Labor Day parade in LA Harbor Area

http://abc7.com/community-events/parades-mark-labor-day-in-los-angeles/2376148/

I go to this every year. The number of marchers was definitely the biggest in a long long time. Even Carpenter unions from Orange County were there. First time I've seen them.

Good upbeat crowd. Hilda Solis was there since she's a LA County Supervisor now. Antonio Villaraigosa was there.. I just gave him a dirty look LOL He's got to be planning a run for something because he never gave a damn about the area when he was mayor.

This parade always reminds me of how important brotherhood/sisterhood is when fighting for our labor rights. It always refreshes me in many ways.

If you live in the LA area you should try to get to this next year if you can.

Edit: I see Villaraigosa is running for governor.
